Scallop Casserole

  • 12 ounces fresh scallops
  • 3/4 cup half & half
  • 1 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup margarine or butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons celery seed
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • Paprika

Prehaet oven to 375 degrees.

If scallops are large cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces.  Place scallops in greased 9x9x2 baking dish.  Pour half of the half & half over scallops.

Mix bread crumbs, butter, celery seed, salt and pepper.  Sprinkle over scallops.  Top with the rest of the half & half (liquid should be about 3/4 the way up on the scallops). Sprinlkle with paprika.  Cook uncovered for 25-30 minutes.
