- 2 pounds lobster
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 3/4 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 slices bread (crust removed)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 2 quart baking dish.
Melt butter in saucepan. Add lobster and saute until it starts to turn color. Remove lobster with a slotted spoon and set aside. With remaining butter in pot, stir in flour, dry mustard and salt and pepper. Cook, stirring constantly and gradually whisk in the cream and milk until it's thick, about 5 minutes. Add the lobster back into the mixture and pour into the prepared baking dish. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
